The IRS recommends to keep the Tax Return and back up for at least 7 years. TDS Tax Services recommends you keep the Tax Return and back up for as many years as you have room for.
The IRS attempts to issue all refund in less than 21 days. However, this could be delayed if sent via mail or if the IRS requires additional review.
We as a firm have a certain number of returns we can complete timely and accurately before the April 15th deadline. We typically have to cut off for extensions some time in March. We recommend that if you are not wanting to go on extension, to bring your return in as early as possible.
